Cloud Skin — Skin Care Brand & Packaging Concept
Cloud Skin is a conceptual cosmetic brand dedicated to simple clean ingredients for flawless, cloud-like, skin. The brand is geared towards Gen Z and younger. It was made to be bright, colorful, and simple to pop on the shelf while also maintaining a clean aesthetic.
The logo mark is made to feel bouncy and playful while remaining typography, based on competitor research, typography brand marks work best for cosmetic brands and consumer understanding. The “Clo” can be used as a stand-alone mark, on their own the letters look like a little face, matching the brand’s playful identity.
I created the packaging pattern using watercolor paints to create a light and cloud-like aesthetic throughout the brand style. There are two product designs, one for nighttime and one for daytime, to create clarity and simplicity for consumers, especially of a younger generation who may just be learning how to care for their skin.
